Task
Design an integrated advertising campaign for the Social Media Week conference that effectively captures the culture, energy, and respectable speakers present at the event.
Concept
For this campaign, I focused on Social Media Week’s bright and positive approach in educating and empowering the next generation of creatives to positively impact brands and clients. Social Media Week aspires to be the premier hub for celebrating and exploring the impact of social media and digital technology on business, culture, and society.
To capture this visually, I crafted a wordmark for Social Media Week that utilized both san serif and serif type to highlight the trend and creativity associated with the event. I also used bold colors to allude to the innovation, confidence, and the momentum creatives would gain by attending this conference. In addition, various abstract holding shapes were used throughout the campaign to showcase that not one creative project is exactly identical to another, but can be vital to a brand’s overall growth on social media.
